DIY Hair Scarf / Band

T his item, although simple, has come in handy many a time. It is made by cutting up the bottom part of an old t-shirt, in order to obtain a strip of fabric that can be wrapped up around your head and tied - in order to keep your hair out of the way or to be used as a cute hair accessory. This up-cycling project is great as it does involve any sewing or purchasing of any material, extends the lifetime of fabric and prevents from using additional new material.

Unfortunately I lost the one I made and do not currently have a t-shirt to cut up and make a new one, however below you can find a photo roughly showing how to make this.
