Upcycled school Christmas party
T he Upcycled Christmas party was a festive aimed at promoting sustainability and creativity during the holiday season. Hosted in the National School of Aplied Arts based in Tryavna, Bulgaria, it brought together individuals passionate about environmental conservation and the joy of Christmas celebrations.
Participants were encouraged to bring old, unused items and transform them into unique Christmas decorations.
Workshops and demonstrations were held to teach attendees various upcycling techniques, including repurposing materials like cardboard, used aluminium cans, tangerine peels etc. into beautiful ornaments and centerpieces.
The event engaged students and teachers to craft untraditional Christmas toys using recycled materials.
The Upcycled Christmas party was not only a celebration of the holiday season but also a testament to the power of creativity, collaboration, and conscious consumerism. By promoting upcycling and eco-friendly practices, it inspired attendees to reimagine Christmas traditions in a way that respects the planet and future generations.
