The "Tissues" Instagram profile

T issues (Tkanki in Polish) is an Instagram profile created and run by a young Polish girl Marysia, who loves sewing and decided to do it using fabrics that have already been used. She uses everything from old clothes to upholstery pieces or fabric samples. She promotes handsewn bags, etuis and other things which she's also selling. From time to time she organises workshops around the country, teaching people how to create simillar accessories themselves. It is a two person business and in my opinion they're doing an amazing job reusing resources and giving others happiness.

I find their content inspiring because as a beginner sewist, I have the opportunity to learn how to use smaller scraps of fabrics I already have or clothes I bought at second hand stores and turn them into something useful instead of buying brand new ones.

It is motivating to see how many beautiful things you can make from such tiny scraps of fabrics.
